Views of Jefferson

Miss Emma (Godmother): loves Jefferson; educated him; accepts the verdict, but does not accept naming Jefferson a hog or an animal; fights for the honor of Jefferson

Defence lawyer: no connections between Jefferson and the murderer; he is no man –> innocent; Jefferson has no compehension/ brain/ consciousness to plan a robbery; Jefferson is stupid, an animal; whiskhey –>to calm him down; acts in instinct

Prosecutor: sees only the facts –> Jefferson is guilty in his position; equal a man or an animal –> he should get his punishment; Jefferson plans the action in the bar; Jefferson celebrates the robbery with whiskey –> no feel of guilty or compassion;  murder – robbery

My personal view: robbery is false; Jefferson does not kill them –> the narrator tells the whole story; Jefferson is no hog; compassion with Jefferson and his verdict; the robbery ends in a massacre with all the blood –> everyone would be nervous and don`t see a way out
